HUDJO LIMITED (“Hudjo”, “we”, “us” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy & Data Use Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and store your information when you use the Hudjo website, app, or services. By using Hudjo, you consent to the practices described here.
1. Our Role
Hudjo is a platform that connects cyclists with secure parking and storage provided by independent hosts. We do not operate the parking locations.
For cyclists: Hudjo is your main point of contact and a Data Controller.
For hosts: Hudjo provides customer data only so you can safely and effectively manage bookings.
2. What Data We Collect
We collect the following data:
Contact details: Name, email, phone number
Booking information: Dates, location, payment reference
Optional profile information you choose to provide
We collect this data to provide and improve our service, communicate with you, and ensure the safe use of Hudjo.
Lawful basis for processing:
Contract: to provide your booked services
Legitimate interest: to improve services, prevent fraud, and ensure safety
Legal obligation: to comply with laws and regulations
3. How We Share Data
With hosts: When you book a parking spot, we share the necessary details with the host so they can manage your booking.
With no one else: Hosts are not permitted to share your information with other customers or third parties.
Lawful disclosures: We may share data with law enforcement, insurers, courts, or regulators if required by law or necessary to protect your vital interests or the rights of others. Any disclosures are limited to what is strictly necessary.
4. Host Obligations
Hosts partnering with Hudjo must:
Use customer data only for operational purposes linked to bookings
Keep data secure and never share without a lawful basis
Notify Hudjo immediately of any suspected data breaches
Respect GDPR rights of users
Accept responsibility for any onward misuse of customer data
5. Your Rights as a User
You have the right to:
Access, correct, or request deletion of your data
Object to certain uses of your data

Escalate complaints to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO)
You can request account deletion via charlie.fitzroy@hudjo.com or through the account settings in the Hudjo app.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data only as long as necessary to:
Provide our services
Meet legal obligations
Protect against fraud or disputes
7. International Transfers
Your data may be processed or stored outside the UK. We ensure all transfers comply with UK GDPR using appropriate safeguards.
8. Children’s Privacy
Hudjo is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child under 16 has provided us with data, please contact charlie.fitzroy@hudjo.com.
9. Security
We implement administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect your data. However, no system is completely secure, and you acknowledge that complete security cannot be guaranteed.

Our services may include links to external sites or apps. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and we recommend reviewing their policies before sharing personal information.
11. Sale of Business
If Hudjo or its assets are sold or transferred, your personal data may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.

We may update this Privacy & Data Use Policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Material changes will be notified via the Hudjo app or email.
If you do not agree to the updated policy, you should stop using the services and deactivate your account.
